The broadcaster had previously hinted that the new series would launch in October, but no exact date had been given until now.
The announcement came after the Strictly Come Dancing launch show, which revealed the celebrity and professional dancer pairings at long last.
But as Strictly hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman closed the first show of the 2025 series with “start dancing!” Claudia teased that a first look at Celebrity Traitors was on the way.

As a clock ticked in the background, Claudia was then heard saying: “In here, your glamorous lives count for nothing.
“Most of you will be murdered, sorry about that.”
