Age UK launches panel for older voices in Gloucestershire

The local independent charity, in partnership with Gloucestershire Older Persons Association, is inviting individuals aged 50 and over to join a dedicated panel to shape decisions affecting their lives and communities.

Panel members will have the opportunity to partake in surveys, focus groups and consultations, sharing their experiences, concerns and ideas to influence organisations’ policies and plans.

Jane Shute, Age UK Gloucestershire’s head of fundraising and communications, said: “Our aim is to ensure everyone ages well their way in Gloucestershire.

“By listening to older people and amplifying their voices, we can help influence policymakers as well as services so that they truly reflect the needs and aspirations of our local older residents.”

Participation in the Voice of Older People panel is free and individuals can engage as much or as little as they wish.
