Coca-Cola Challenges Fans to Outplay Legends in Fantasy Premier League

Coca-Cola, official soft drink partner of the Premier League, has launched a brand-new Fantasy Premier League activation, ‘Beat The Icon’. The UK campaign gives fans the chance to put their fantasy football knowledge to the test against UK football legends and top creators – with thousands of prizes up for grabs.

Leaning into the culture of fandom, where every supporter believes they’re the ultimate football expert, Coca-Cola is challenging fans to prove it. Each week, players will go head-to-head with some of the biggest names in football and the creator community through unique FPL challenges – with bragging rights, pride, and prizes on the line.

Running from Tuesday 2nd September to Tuesday 4th November 2025, fans across the UK can enter by purchasing a promotional Coca-Cola can and scanning the QR code on-pack. More than 20,000 prizes are available, including vintage Coca-Cola jerseys, Premier League match tickets and more.

Each week, a different ‘icon’ will set a custom Fantasy challenge with their own rules. Icons and managers won’t be bound by traditional FPL budgets, instead selecting six Premier League players and scoring extra points for footballers linked to their weekly theme. With fresh opportunities each gameweek, every fan has a chance to win.

  • Rio Ferdinand – Gameweek 4 (13th and 14th September)
  • Manny – Gameweek 5 (20th and 21st September)
  • Alex Scott MBE – Gameweek 6 (27th and 28th September)
  • Mary Earps – Gameweek 7 (4th and 5th October)
  • WillNE – Gameweek 8 (18th and 19th October)
  • Nemzzz – Gameweek 9 (25th and 26th October)
  • Tays MCR – Gameweek 10 (1st and 2nd November)
