Phoebe, 22, discussed her new romance on the Sept. 4 episode of “The Burnouts” podcast, which she co-hosts with business partner Sophia Kianni. “It’s amazing. It’s the best thing ever. And this is completely new for me. I’ve never been with someone like this,” Phoebe shared, according to Page Six, adding that her new boyfriend “doesn’t have an Instagram.”
She also deleted all photos of herself with Arthur, 26, from her social media accounts, Hello! magazine reported. While Phoebe did not share further details about her new partner, she mentioned that he is supportive of her business, Phia, an AI-powered online shopping tool she co-founded with Kianni in April.
“I’m like, ‘Okay, well, sit on down, bud. Let me show you the new video that we just dropped on the Phia account,” she said. “You’re going to sit here, and you’re going to watch it.’ And he’s like, ‘Okay.'”

Arthur is the son of British photographer Mary McCartney, the eldest daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney, and her ex-husband, Alistair Donald.
Phoebe and Arthur first attracted attention in October 2023 when she posted a photo of the two of them together in Paris, as reported by the Daily Mail. She later confirmed their relationship, referring to Arthur as her “boyfriend” in a blog post for lifestyle magazine Nylon after her graduation from Stanford University.
The couple was also seen together with Phoebe’s mother, Melinda French Gates, at the 2024 Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Albie Award at the New York Public Library.
It is unclear if Arthur had met Phoebe’s father, Bill. However, in a past appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with Alex Cooper, Phoebe shared that her ex-boyfriends were often intimidated by her father. She recalled an awkward moment when Bill drove her and a high school boyfriend to a dance but noted that it has since become easier to introduce partners, as his initial reactions are a good indicator of whether they are a good match.
