Atlanta’s Inaugural “Making an Impact” Fashion Show Set to Benefit St. Jude

Organizers are hoping to raise $250,000 for St. Jude Through the power of Fashion

ATLANTA — Atlanta’s fashion, culture, and philanthropy worlds are coming together for a runway event with a purpose. When models hit the runway at the inaugural Making an Impact Fashion Show, they’ll be walking onto a stage that’s set to help children battling cancer and provide support at no cost to their families.

On September 15th, the fashion show presented by Henderson and Winchester at Silver Spot at the Battery will directly support the life-saving research and treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Over the weekend, organizers held a launch to drum up excitement for the event at HOP Models & Talent Agency, where community leaders and supporters gathered to celebrate the mission behind the event: giving back.

“For St Jude to reach out to myself and Lyndon to be a part of creating a new way to outreach the community means everything to us,” said Brandy Henderson, one of the creators behind the event. “We are so proud to be making a new impact and helping save lives. This annual fashion show is a way for us to help give back in our continued support to St Jude.”

This year, Henderson says the goal is to raise $250,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They hope to do it through a night of elevated fashion, cocktails and bites before some of Atlanta’s top designers put their work on display.
