Pleasurewood Hills near Lowestoft was named on The Telegraph’s list of the 12 best theme parks in the country.
The Suffolk site ranked number seven on the list, above Alton Towers and Chessington World of Adventure.

It was the live shows on offer at Pleasurewood Hills that saw it stand out to the publication.
They said: “Pleasurewood Hills has ample rides and attractions, but it’s the live shows that mark it out as different.
“These include Sea Lion Splash, which features educational performances by the marine mammals, and the summer circus, complete with aerial acrobatics and mind-blowing stunts.

“If this all gets too overwhelming, there is also a soft play area – Woody’s Clubhouse – for children.”
The article also recommended the nearby Five-Acre Barn Hotel as an “ideal” place to explore the area from.
The park recently redeveloped its eye-catching rollercoaster, Wipeout, to feature lap bars for a more thrilling experience.
