Marisa Tomei has truly been wowing fans time and time again with her fashion sense, and this time, she showed everyone how she seamlessly transitions her style from night to day. On May 5, the My Cousin Vinny star shared a series of jaw-dropping snapshots of herself on her Instagram with the caption reading, “1 outfit, 2 days.”
She added, “sat night: @kingofbingo “put that … on” pre-Met fete. sunday: lucille lortel awards. instead of day into night, it was night into day 😉. 👗 my @viviennewestwood. 💄& 📸 @tina_turnbow. 💇🏻♀️ @hoshounkpatin & @kshira_hair”
In the photos, we see Tomei looking so stunning in a gold and black velvet two-piece from Vivienne Westwood. In the photos taken for the Pre-Mt Gala party and at the Lucille Lortel Awards, we also see her enjoying an ice candy stick, modeling the same ornate, gorgeous look. We also see her iconic curly light brown and dark brown locks in full view, which is thanks to Hoshounkpatin and Kendall Shira, who continually helps create her luscious curly hairdo.
And of course, we have to mention that the photos and the glowing, rosy makeup were done by Tina Turnbow!
Yet again, Tomei reminds us that she’s a modern style icon.

In a dual interview with Lisa Bonet in Interview Magazine, they talked about the importance of the intersection of confidence and fashion.
Tomei added, “It’s self-expression. This means something to me and I want to share it. When you’re talking about fashion, how can it be used more for beauty than for commercialism? Beauty is so important because it really stops us from thinking. It makes space for that transcendence.”
In the same interview, she briefly talked about her personal fashion, noting that she’s always rocked this type of style: “I loved that so much. I’m still an avid vintage girl.”
