All bets were on Gigi Hadid confirming her engagement to Bradley Cooper at the 2025 Met Gala tonight. While the supermodel did not debut a diamond ring, she did bring the romance with her outfit—a custom Miu Miu look with a special meaning.
Styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnso, the Guest in Residence founder looked goddess-like in flowing gold. The dress, covered in clear crystals with a thin halter strap, had ruched detailing at the waist, accentuating its hourglass silhouette. It paid homage to two Black women who changed fashion forever: the designer Zelda Wynn Valdez and the iconic singer, dancer, and actor Josephine Baker.
Hadid paired the look with dangly silver earrings and several rings. Her golden-blond hair was styled in a dreamy ’do with some curls pinned to the top of her head.
Cooper did not walk the red carpet at the fashionable gala with her.

Through her years in the industry, Hadid has proven her sartorial versatility time and time again. At the Met Gala last year, she was ethereal in an icy-white gown by Thom Browne that had an off-the-shoulder neckline and a voluminous ruffled skirt adorned with yellow rosettes all over. She upped the glamour with a diamond necklace and dangly diamond earrings from Chopard, plus a classic Old Hollywood hairdo.
In total contrast, she showed up to the ball the year before in a grungy black semisheer gown custom-made by Givenchy. It had a ruched bodice, a hip cutout, and a long, dramatic train. For that look, Hadid accessorized with sheer black Calzedonia tights, black pumps, and jewelry—a pearl and diamond choker and diamond stud earrings—from Lagos.
