Veterans to be supported by support centres across the UK

Military veterans will have access to support centres across the UK under a new system announced by the government to coincide with the VE Day commemorations.

A network of centres, called Valour, will be established across Britain with £50 million in funding. Regional field officers will be deployed to connect local, regional and national services. They will bring together charities, service providers and local government to give more support to the country’s two million veterans across housing, employment, health and welfare.
