Adnand and Shorna
Adnand: 25, Albania
Shorna: 45, London
Shorna met Adnand while on a family holiday with her daughter in Greece, and the pair had an instant connection.
When Shorna returned to the UK, she booked a flight straight back to Greece, where the couple spent a romantic eight days together, and they have been in a long-distance relationship ever since.
But surprises lay ahead, as Shorna converted to Mormonism and is no longer able to have a physical relationship with Adnand, something she has hesitated to tell him.
Shannon and Mete
Shannon: 25, Liverpool
Mete: 32, Istanbul
Like many other cast members, Shannon and Mete’s love story began on holiday. When Shannon went on a trip to Marmaris, she was greeted by hotel entertainer Mete, and the pair hit it off instantly.
Shannon often flies to Turkey to see and spend time with Mete, but he is very jealous and her almost all-male group of friends in the UK hasn’t gone down well.
Arrah and Andy
Arrah: 30, Philippines
Andy: 36, Watford
Andy revealed to Arrah when they first began talking that he has a disability and, to his delight, she wasn’t fazed in the slightest.
After a month of only speaking over the phone, Andy booked a flight to the Philippines to propose to Arrah, but has he made the right decision?
Phin and Sandra
Phin: 33, London
Sandra: 33, Brazil
Phin and Sandra share quite the unique love story, having first met when the pair were 17, when Phin travelled to the orphanage Sandra grew up in to visit his sister who was volunteering at the same place.
The pair remained in close contact until their lives went in different directions and Sandra got married and had a family. But in 2022, now single, Sandra accidentally called Phin and the rest is history! The pair quickly became a couple, but Phin’s reluctance to step into the role of stepfather is a cause for concern in his and Sandra’s relationship.
Ebrima and Zena
Ebrima: 45, The Gambia
Zena: 65, Oxted
Zena was holidaying in The Gambia when she caught the eye of her waiter, Embrima, and it wasn’t long before they embarked on a long-distance relationship.
While the couple are happy, Zena’s family are concerned Ebrima’s intentions are solely financial.
Sarah and Marco
Sarah: 31, Kent
Marco: 37, Rome
After going through a break-up, Sarah’s friend took her to Italy, where she met Marco. The pair hit it off immediately and have been in a relationship for one year, with each one travelling to the other’s country at least once a month.
But what Sarah’s friends and family don’t know is that they recently got engaged! Having been engaged before, Sarah is afraid to tell her loved ones about the impending nuptials.
Sam and Ali
Sam: 30, Newcastle
Ali: 24, Turkey
After appearing in season 3, Sam and Ali are back, with the couple finding it hard to save for a visa.
Now married but living long-distance, Sam tries living in Ali’s rural Turkish hometown, much to Ali’s frustration, who is determined to come and live in the UK.
