The 2025 World Cup of Darts is underway, and we are being treated to seeing the world’s two best players team up in Germany.
England are being represented by Luke Humphries and Luke Littler, who go from rivals to teammates on the world stage.
In 2024, Humphries and Michael Smith were victorious after beating Austria in the final, but now Littler has been drafted in to make his World Cup debut.
Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price, who won the title two years ago, are representing Wales again, while Scotland’s team is Gary Anderson and Peter Wright.
Belgium, Scotland, the Netherlands and hosts Germany all have strong pairings for the tournament too.
World Cup of Darts: Dates and start times
The 2025 PDC World Cup of Darts began on Thursday, June 12.
It will run over four days and come to a close on Sunday, June 15.
The tournament is being held at Eissporthalle am Ratsweg in Frankfurt, Germany.
Each day of play is now split into afternoon and evening sessions.
Afternoon sessions start at either 11am or 12pm UK time, while evening sessions get going at 6pm each day.
Quarter-finals will be held on June 15 in the afternoon session, beginning at 12pm in the UK.
The semi-final and final of the World Cup will then be held from 6pm on the same day.

World Cup of Darts: Format
40 different nations are taking part in the World Cup of Darts.
The top four nations went straight through to the second round, while the remaining 36 nations were split into 12 groups of three.
The winner of each group progressed through to the second round, and then the tournament is knockout from then on.
Each group stage game saw teams compete in a best-of-seven legs match, before the second round, quarter-finals and semi-finals are all best of 15 legs.
The World Cup final will be best of 19 legs.
All matches are played in the doubles format, with teammates taking turns at the oche.
