Two women are facing charges after the Plymouth District Attorney’s office said they stole hundreds of clothing items from Old Navy.
Tyeisha Bridges, 32, and Shatoya Lewis, 25, were arrested in New York and arraigned in Hingham District Court on Thursday on one count each of organized retail crime, larceny over $1,200, larceny under $1,200 and two counts of conspiracy.
Bridges and Lewis pleaded not guilty.
Officials claim the two women collaborated to steal merchandise from Old Navy in Hanover twice in 2024.
On July 9, 2024, three women were reported to be carrying bags full of clothing out of the store without paying. Two of these women were Bridges and Lewis, the district attorney’s office claims.
Old Navy said 253 pieces of clothing were stolen during that incident, which were worth about $3,950.
Another incident on Aug. 20, 2024, included items worth $920 being stolen, officials said.
Bridges was placed on $4,000 bail, while Lewis was placed on $6,000 bail. They are expected to return to court on April 29.
