Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching on Thursday and what’s on the radar for Friday’s session. The November drop The Russell 2000 is down almost 4% so far this month. It is 5.25% from its Oct. 15 high. The Nasdaq is down 3.6% in November. It is 4.8% from the Oct. 29 high. The S & P Tech sector is down 4.5% in November, putting it 6.1% from the Oct. 29 high. Consumer discretionary sector is down 3.6% in November, or 5.25% from its Nov. 3 high. .RUT 3M mountain Russell 2000 Index over the past three months Big Tech CNBC.com users have been even more interested in Big Tech than usual over the last 24 hours. AMD , Apple and CoreWeave were the top searched tickers. AMD fell 4.2% on Thursday. The stock is 7% from its Oct. 29 high. Apple was pretty much flat. The stock is 1.6% from its Halloween high. Coreweave dropped 8.3% on Thursday. The stock is now 58% from its June 20 high. Older Big Tech Cisco picked up ground on Thursday, adding 4.6%. The stock hit a 52-week high on Thursday before falling from the top level by 2.7%. Cisco, by the way, was also a top ranked ticker on CNBC.com in the last day. IBM dropped 3.2% on Thursday after hitting a new high on Wednesday. It is now 6.2% from Wednesday’s top level. CSCO 3M mountain Cisco Systems shares over the past three months Watching Argentina and Latin America The White House has reached a trade agreement with Argentina. The news came after the bell. The Global X MSCI Argentina ETF (ARGT) dropped 2.5% Thursday. It is 6.7% from its Nov. 3 high. There are also deals with El Salvador, Ecuador and Guatemala. The iShares Latin America 40 ETF (ILF) fell 1% Thursday. It is 2.5% from Tuesday’s high. Most of the stocks in the ETF come from Brazil, Mexico and Chile, with a few from Peru and Colombia. The ETF tracking Mexico, the iShares MSCI Mexico ETF (EWW) , hit a high Wednesday but has dropped 3.3% since that top level. It is up 8.7% in three months. Cyber Security Several big cybersecurity stocks fell on Thursday. Cloudflare lost 5.4%. It is now 18% from its November high. SentinelOne dropped 3.7%. The stock is now 44% from last November’s high. CrowdStrike lost 3% on Thursday. That puts the stock down 6.5% from a 52-week it hit Wednesday. Anthropic released information its AI platform was used by Chinese state sponsored hackers to hit corporations and governments in the month of September. Bitcoin It closed below the $100,000 mark on Thursday, after hitting lows not seen since May. Bitcoin is down 22% since an Oct. 6 high. Ether is down 35% since late August. “Worldwide Exchange” will pick up the crypto story starting at 5 a.m. Friday morning.
