University of East Anglia, UK launches MSc in Global Public Health
Offered by UEA’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the programme is ideal for graduates passionate about improving global health outcomes. It integrates core public health teachings with perspectives from international development and environmental science, covering crucial topics like health equity, migration, and climate change impacts on public health.
A key highlight of the curriculum is the Extended Project, replacing the traditional dissertation. This hands-on component emphasizes real-world problem-solving and practical application, enhancing students’ readiness for careers in global health policy, NGOs, and research institutes.
Students will also have access to world-class research centres, such as the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and the Norwich Institute for Sustainable Development, offering unique opportunities for research and collaboration.
