HTC has launched the Wildfire E5 Plus, an entry-level smartphone designed for budget-conscious consumers. The device features a 6.75-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The Wildfire E5 Plus runs on Android 14 and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, providing ample power for daily use. The phone’s design includes a teardrop notch housing a 16MP front camera, while the rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Wildfire E5 Plus offers several connectivity options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, the device supports biometric authentication through both fingerprint and facial recognition. The phone is available in grey and blue and is initially launched in Vietnam with a price tag of approximately $93.
