A British teenager who was reported missing in Thailand last week has been arrested for allegedly smuggling cannabis into Georgia.
Bella May Culley, 18, from Billingham, Co Durham, remains in police custody in the former Soviet republic, more than 4,000 miles away from Thailand.
She had been travelling around Asia for the past month and flew to Thailand on May 3. Her family last heard from her on Saturday when she was in the resort city of Pattaya.

They reported her missing to local police and the Foreign Office in London, and her father and aunt flew to Thailand to help in the search.
Cleveland police confirmed Culley had been detained in Georgia.
