Newport County have signed Cardiff City’s Wales Under-21 international Tom Davies.
The 21-year-old joins the League Two club on a permanent deal, signing an 18-month contract.
Left-back Davies, who can also play in midfield, was due to see his Cardiff deal expire at the end of the season.
Davies becomes County’s third signing of the January window following the arrivals of goalkeeper Lewis Webb and David Ajiboye, who arrived on loan from Peterborough on Thursday.
Davies joins the Exiles having appeared in the Bluebirds’ FA Cup third-round win at Sheffield United last week.
