FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The TinCaps battled back Saturday night at Parkview Field and bounced back from a shutout loss with a dramatic win over Great Lakes 2-1.
Jack Costello sparked the offense in the fourth and sixth innings, helping Fort Wayne tie it at 1-1 heading into the final frame.
In the ninth, Leo De Vries knocked in the walk-off winner with a fly ball to right that brought home the game-ending run.
The victory brings Fort Wayne one game away from securing the series.
