Women across the Philadelphia region can receive free Smart & Sexy bras along with professional or casual clothing in celebration of National Smart & Sexy Day and Women’s History Month.
On Thursday, March 27, The Wardrobe will host Open Wardrobe education and clothing events at five locations—Philadelphia, Upper Darby, Chester, Exton, and Kennett Square. Sponsored by National Smart & Sexy Day and Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits (ACDN), these events honor Women’s History Month by providing valuable resources and support.
Attendees can receive a free bra fitting, a Smart & Sexy bra, and professional or casual clothing. Select locations will also feature special seminars. Women are encouraged to RSVP online.
This year’s theme, “The Power of And,” highlights the boundless opportunities for women, emphasizing that they can be leaders and entrepreneurs, innovators and caregivers, creators and change-makers—without limitations.
Seminars
The Power of And Panel Discussion will take place at the Philadelphia location (413 N. 4th Street), and attendees can expect a thought-provoking conversation exploring the complexities of identity and confidence in modern society. This panel will take place on Thursday, March 27, at 5 p.m. and panelists include artists, community directors, and advocacy managers. According to organizers, this panel “will mediate a movement on the evolution of womanhood and the cost of authenticity.”
Your Wallet 101 will take place at Exton Square Mall (2nd floor near Boscov’s) on Thursday, March 27, at 10 a.m. and feature a financial empowerment workshop hosted by Brett Goldman. This session will cover topics like credit cards, budgeting, insurance, work and taxes, and more. For those looking to build financial confidence, plan for the future, or gain practical money management skills, this workshop is a great opportunity for women who want to take control of their financial well-being.
