DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -A great abundance of gently-used casual and business clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories line the racks at the recently-opened Style Encore, 5252 Elmore Avenue, Suite F, Davenport.
Shoppers can choose from a variety of budget-friendly items or bring in their gently-used items for some extra cash. The store is similar to Plato’s Closet (sister store located next door), but is geared toward adult fashion instead of teenagers.
It is fitting that the QCL feature took place on Earth Day as the idea of repurposing clothing supports sustainability while helping folks save (or earn back) money.

The business pays cash all day, every day for gently used clothing, purses, shoes, and accessories–for both women and men. Additionally, Style Encore buys all seasons, everyday.
Free style sessions can be pursued–which assists customers in finding complete outfits that fits within an individual’s unique style.
Upcoming special event
Style Encore is partnering with The Grape Life to host Ladies Night on May 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free wine tastings with Dress for Success for assistance in styling the guests. For more information about how to attend, visit the Facebook event page here.
Community outreach
The re-sale shop partners with Dress for Success QC by providing regular clothing donations and participating in Recycle the Runway to support the wonderful organization in our community.
Another community outreach initiative is an ongoing effort to support teachers. Style Encore offers 10% off Tuesdays in May for teachers, for example.
