Selma Blair isn’t afraid to show off her quirky lingerie on the red carpet.
Blair, 52, surprised fans at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards in Los Angeles, where she flashed a rather unusual pair of panties on the red carpet. As the Cruel Intentions actress posed in a gold Betsy Johnson dress, she tossed her ruffled skirt high in the air, revealing her underwear, which featured a cat’s face over her crotch.
It was all the more unexpected considering Blair isn’t known for being a so-called “cat lady.” In fact, it was her service dog Scout, an English red fox Labrador retriever she adopted in 2021, who stole the show at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March.
Scout wasn’t on the red carpet this time, but her cat undies were on full display. The rest of Blair’s dress was just as attention-grabbing, complete with a strapless neckline and a fitted bodice. The actress teamed the look with sheer beaded heels and dainty rings. She further accessorized with a silver clutch and diamond headpiece to secure her updo.
For glam, Blair parted her platinum blonde tresses to the side and blew out her bangs. The rest of her strands were pushed back into a voluminous ponytail. She added even more sparkle to her look with glitter-flecked eyeshadow, filled-in eyebrows, rosy cheeks and pink lips.
On the red carpet, Blair gave an update on her MS diagnosis, sharing that she is “relapse-free” after her seven-year battle.
“I am doing amazingly well. I’ve been feeling great for about a year,” she told People.
Designer Betsy Johnson took to TikTok to share Blair’s viral moment, posting a hilarious clip of Blair fully lifting her dress up and flashing her wacky underwear. The women both giggled and squealed on the red carpet.
Johnson, 82, twinned with Blair in a silver version of her dress, which she teamed with a fishnet undershirt and chunky yellow highlights in her blonde updo.
“I see London, I see France, I saw Selma’s…. Amazing personality <3,” Johnson captioned the post.
Fans laughed with the duo in the comments section. “I love Selma Blair so much,” one wrote, as a second added, “Seeing Selma active and being goofy makes me smile.”
