Redstone Arsenal launched its My Army Post app, centralizing access to on-garrison resources and information for Team Redstone employees, their families and the Tennessee Valley community.
The My Army Post app will replace Redstone Arsenal’s Digital Garrison app as the installation’s primary means of communication.
The app provides improved access to a broad array of post-related topics, including visitor access, housing, dining, fitness, childcare and youth services. Anyone may access resources like emergency phone numbers, receive alerts and push notifications without a registration requirement. Users may also bookmark their favorite resources for update notifications.
This app not only serves our military community, but also the civilians, contractors and community stakeholders that make this installation a federal center of excellence.
“We want this app to be helpful to you,” said Maj. Gen. Gavin Lawrence, Army Materiel Command’s deputy chief of staff of operations. “As our community partners, your input and feedback are invaluable to us, so please, let us know how we can better serve you.”
This app is part of an Army-wide initiative to adopt a uniform means of communication for all installations worldwide. The Army first highlighted their efforts publicly during the 2023 Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) annual meeting.
