A private college that teaches degrees on behalf of numerous universities has been blocked from receiving student loan funding following a Sunday Times investigation.
From September, Oxford Business College (OBC) will no longer be allowed to enrol new students through the Student Loans Company (SLC) after an investigation by the Department for Education (DfE).
The decision was made last week and the college was notified on Thursday. OBC has said it believes the decision was unlawful and will seek to challenge it in court.
