President Trump Appoints Arthur Graham to TVA Board | Local News

President Donald Trump named Arthur Graham of Florida to the Tennessee Valley Authority board of directors on Thursday as his fifth pick for the regulatory body of the nation’s largest public utility.

If confirmed by the Senate, Graham would serve until May 18, 2026, finishing out the term of Michelle Moore, who Trump fired in March.

The board is operating without the minimum quorum of five directors needed for new business for the first time in more than 25 years after Trump ordered the terminations of three directors without publicly explaining why.

Trump named four nominees to the board on July 1, including Nashville businessman and major GOP donor Lee Beaman. The other nominees are Knoxville attorney Jeff Hagood, Memphis health care executive Mitch Graves and Alabama insurance agent Randy Jones.
