Olivia Grace Hairdressing wins at UK Hair and Beauty Awards

Olivia Hughes, who owns Olivia Grace Hairdressing, was named as a finalist in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards earlier this year, being put forward in the ‘Best in Blondes’ category.

Ms Hughes specialises in blonde hair colouring and balayage, a “low maintenance” style which often produces a more natural effect.

The 21-year-old, who formerly worked for Peter Prosser Hairdressers, was given a bronze award for the category, which she says she “still can’t quite believe”.

“It feels really rewarding to be chosen as there were so many talented hairdressers up for this award,” she said.

The 2025 awards were held in September and were attended by the likes of Paris Fury, her daughter, Venezuela, and Katie Price’s daughter, Princess Andre.

Ms Hughes, who runs her salon from her home in Hereford, launched her very own podcast, Snip Happens, earlier this year.

The podcast, which discusses “all things hair”, was created after she felt the only hairdressing podcasts discussed business.

“My podcast launched in March with my first guest Lilly-rose from the Big Blow Out and got over 600 views within the first 24 hours which was amazing,” she said.

“We have since filmed another two episodes but have had to put it on pause over summer as I was super busy with clients and the producers were busy too but will hopefully have a Christmas special to start something up again.”
