TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Governor Mike DeWine called on lawmakers to ban cell phones in all Ohio schools during his State of the State Address.
A ban would build on legislation DeWine signed into law last year requiring school districts to create policies governing cell phones.
He included an outright ban in his budget proposal. Lawmakers will now have to decide if they should answer his call.
