Newcastle Carabao Cup parade: Route, transport and times

Tens of thousands of Newcastle United fans are expected to line the city’s streets later to celebrate the club’s historic Carabao Cup win.

The Magpies’ secured their first silverware since the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1969, and the club’s first domestic trophy for 70 years, by beating Liverpool at Wembley two weeks ago.

An open-top bus parade will start at St James’ Park at approximately 16:30, head through Newcastle city centre and end at Town Moor.

Meanwhile, a ticketed celebration at Town Moor will feature live music, interviews and a screening of the full cup final.
