Japanese world champion Naoya Inoue will defend his undisputed super-bantamweight titles against Sam Goodman on 24 December in Tokyo.
Undefeated Inoue, 31 is a four-weight world champion and one of boxing’s pound-for-pound stars.
Nicknamed the ‘Monster’ for his record of 25 knockouts in 28 wins, he beat Ireland’s TJ Doheny by stoppage in September.
Australian Goodman, 26, has won all 19 of his fights.
The bout at Ariake Arena has been billed as ‘Nightmare on Christmas Eve’, with Inoue’s WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts on the line.
