Georgia Southern’s Arabic Club hosted their second multicultural fashion show at the Williams Center. The fashion show included multiple looks from different regions.

“Red is mostly for the culture. We mostly use red a lot and this is just me wanting to express the Nigerian culture’s true clothing and there’s so many ways to express my culture but clothing is one of the major ways to express my culture and it’s really beautiful. I love seeing the models on the runway,” says designer Esther Chukwujeku.

The fashion show featured the new Georgia Southern K-pop dance group Black Mania.

“We’ve done competition and doing stuff by then. I’m a little more use to performing in front of people. It was a little nerve wracking because this is more so a group of my peers. And I knew some people in the crowd, so I definitely was nervous but it was also very exciting at the same time to see all of the hard work pay off,” said dance group member Jason White.

The Arabic club hopes to continue this event to showcase cultures in a way for the audience to enjoy.
