Women make the world go round — and Miuccia Prada knows it. For Spring/Summer 2026, Miu Miu paid tribute to working women everywhere, spotlighting the apron as “a universal symbol of work.” The cult-favorite brand returned to its usual slot on the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week, staging a loving celebration of labor and resilience — with Miu Miu girls leading the charge from the FROW.
Kylie Jenner, Emma Corrin, Emma Watson, and Nina Dobrev watched on as 65 looks took to the runway, each transforming the humble apron into a battle shield. German actress Sandra Hüller opened the show, followed by a roll call of familiar faces — Richard E. Grant, Towa Bird, Cortisa Star, Milla Jovovich, and Daniel Blumberg among them.
Miu Miu unveiled a collection of lived-in garments drenched in sentiment and respect. “Work as an expression of effort. Work as a symbol of care and love. Work as a reflection of independence, a means of agency,” read the show notes. Aprons jumped from look to look — layered over leather-trimmed outerwear, bright knitted tops, patterned swimwear, and more. Large ruffles came in strong, balaced in jersey and branded with tonal Miu Miu lettering. Oversized polos, beaded covers, and bedazzled mini dresses arrived in all shapes and sizes, proving that Miu Miu can do it all.
Further down the line, leather, cotton, silk, and lace reimagined the codes of industrial workwear. Clasped belts, multi-pocketed bags, and scuffed-up shoes spoke to endurance and devotion. Miu Miu’s SS26 collection stood as a tender ode to the world’s resilient workers — the ones who keep it all turning.
