Server Downtime and Release Date, Time in US and UK
NetEase, the game’s developer, has confirmed a server downtime to prepare for the Season 2 update. The downtime begins at 10 am BST in the UK. For players in the United States, the equivalent time is 2 am PDT. The maintenance is expected to last between two to three hours. This means servers should be back online between 12 pm and 1 pm BST on the same day. Players can start downloading and installing the update while the servers are offline.
New Character
Emma Frost is the latest addition to the game. She will be available from April 11. She appears as a Vanguard character. Emma Frost first appeared in the X-Men comics. In the game, she has the power to turn her body into diamond. This ability boosts her strength and defense during combat.
Her ultimate move is called Psionic Seduction. It prevents enemies from using their own ultimate moves. It also pulls opponents toward her position, changing how battles unfold.

New Skins and Battle Pass
The new season brings a Battle Pass filled with cosmetic items. Players will find skins for multiple characters. These include Squirrel Girl, Luna Snow and Magik. Additional outfits include Spider-Oni, Red Runway Veil Black Widow and a new look for Captain America called Star Spangled. Joe Fixit, a version of Bruce Banner, also receives a costume in this pass. The Battle Pass contains sprays, nameplates and emotes.
