As you can see, for the occasion, Tomei wowed in an ornate, red, black, and gold Simone Rocha gown, which she paired with red boots, and a matching red lip. We’ve seen Tomei dress up, and dress down, and we gotta say, we’re loving this ornate, glamorous new number of hers!

Now, from her red carpet moments to videos like this, it’s clear she’s a confident Queen; and she knows it. In a dual, rare interview with beloved actress Lisa Bonet in Interview Magazine, they talked about the importance of the intersection of confidence and fashion.

Tomei added, “It’s self-expression. This means something to me and I want to share it. When you’re talking about fashion, how can it be used more for beauty than for commercialism? Beauty is so important because it really stops us from thinking. It makes space for that transcendence.”
