LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – In collaboration with The Artsiders—a local nonprofit dedicated to showcasing area artists—the Pump House Regional Arts Center will be hosting the Feral Apparel Fashion Show, a unique and stylish event set for this weekend.
Organizers are thrilled to bring fashion into the spotlight for La Crosse, a city with little history of hosting fashion shows.
“Fashion shows are really fun,” said Cat Dagendesh, owner of Feral Fawn Studio and president of The Artsiders. “A lot of people love them. You see it happen in bigger cities, and La Crosse doesn’t have a big history of doing fashion shows, so we thought bringing one here would be wonderful. And hopefully there will be more to come.”

Dagendesh emphasized the deeper meaning behind the event, describing fashion as an extension of the self and a powerful outlet for expression.
The show will feature the work of six area designers, each bringing up to four models to walk the runway and showcase their creative visions.
Mo Smith, Vice President of The Artsiders and co-founder of Feral Fawn Studio, highlighted the significance of the venue, calling the opportunity to showcase at the Pump House a major milestone.
“We’re honestly beyond honored,” Smith said. “I think this might have been a goal for a lot of artists—to be showcased at the Pump House. It’s not an opportunity to take lightly. It’s a regional arts center, so I think it’s kind of a big deal.”

Smith added that fashion is one of the most tangible forms of self-expression, underscoring the importance of The Artsiders hosting the show.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 followed by the main fashion show at 6:00 p.m.
