Business Connect inCharnwood is hosting a free drop-in session for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
The event is taking place on Monday, 29 September between 8am-11am at the Careers and Enterprise Hub in Loughborough.
The event will provide opportunity for Charnwood businesses to network with other professionals, talk through any business-related issues and find out more about becoming a member of Business Connect inCharnwood.
Businesses are not required to book a time slot and can attend at any point during the event but are asked to register their attendance. Refreshments will also be available.
Business Connect inCharnwood was launched in January 2025 and aims to bring together businesses and Charnwood Borough Council to shape future policies, schemes and innovations to help companies thrive in the borough.
Cllr Jennifer Tillotson, the Council’s lead member for housing, economic development, regeneration and town centres, said: “This is a great opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to come together, network and learn from each other to grow their businesses going forward.
“Business Connect InCharnwood was set up to provide local businesses with a strong, collective voice in the borough and the information that we collect from local businesses is vital for how we shape the economic development in Charnwood for years to come.”
Attendees will be asked for their views on how the partnership can support their business journey, what they require from future networking events and what Business Connect inCharnwood can do to help businesses going forward.
There will also be a chance for businesses to win free promotion in the Soar Valley Life magazine.
