Launched in 1995, the Season to Share campaign is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit effort organized by The Palm Beach Post to raise funds for individuals and families in need during the holiday season. The campaign operates in partnership with the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, which serves as the fiscal agent, managing and distributing donations to the nominating nonprofits. The campaign has raised more than $17 million since its inception, helping thousands of families across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

When did The Palm Beach Post first begin publication?
The Palm Beach Post originated in 1910 as the weekly Palm Beach County, becoming a daily on Jan. 5, 1916. It eventually merged with the afternoon Palm Beach Post-Times (formerly the Palm Beach Times) in 1987 to form the current newspaper. The Palm Beach Post was sold to John Holliday Perry Sr. in 1947. Perry also acquired the Palm Beach Daily News and Palm Beach Life, before the properties were bought by Cox Enterprises in 1969. In 2018, Cox Media Group sold The Palm Beach Post and its sister paper, the Palm Beach Daily News, to GateHouse Media, which is now part of Gannett.
