Lazio are expected to be without Italy international Mattia Zaccagni for their upcoming Europa League round of 16 clash away against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday evening, as he was not involved in the final pre-match training session on Wednesday.
Zaccagni expected to be out for Lazio in Europa League
The 29-year-old has reportedly suffered a calf strain, which occurred towards the end of the recent 2-1 victory over Milan in Serie A over the weekend.
Lazio have not yet confirmed their travelling squad for the Viktoria Plzen clash on Thursday, but Sky Sport Italia report that Zaccagni did not set off with the rest of the first-team squad for Czechia on Wednesday afternoon. He was also not involved in the morning’s training session.

It is expected that Pedro will step into the Biancocelesti line-up in Zaccagni’s absence.
Marco Baroni will, however, be able to call up Alessio Romagnoli and Adam Marusic, who had both been doubts earlier in the week.
