Kendrick Lamar Leads Chanel Eyewear Campaign as New Brand Ambassador
From stadiums to the Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 domination continued this week, when it was announced that he will be a new brand ambassador for Chanel, beginning with the brand’s Spring 2025 eyewear campaign, shot by Karim Sadli.
Alongside other stars like Lupita Nyong’o, Margaret Qualley, and Nana Komatsu, Lamar was front and center, rocking a pair of black shades from the collection, adorned with silver crystal beads on the sides.
“Chanel has a timeless legacy, and that is always something I can get behind,” Lamar said in a statement. “Since they don’t make clothes for men, I knew it would have to be glasses.”
The artist joins a rarefied list of men who have served as ambassadors for the French luxury house, including Timothée Chalamet, G-Dragon, and Pharrell Williams.
The announcement arrives at a fitting time, given that the “Not Like Us” singer began his Grand National Tour with SZA just this past Saturday. You can shop the entire eyewear collection here.
Coco Gauff Sports Her Miu Miu x New Balance Collab On and Off the Court
The ongoing collaboration between Miu Miu and New Balance is getting the stamp of approval from Coco Gauff, who will release a special capsule collection through the brands this coming September, after she debuts the looks herself on the court, naturally.
Earlier this week, Gauff modeled pieces from the New Balance X Miu Miu With Coco Gauff Collection, including the Coco CG2 sneaker, zip-front hoodies, track pants, and more.
Gauff will sport the collection while playing in Rome, Berlin, and Cincinnati this summer, but until then, we’ll be enjoying the sneak peek courtesy of her new photoshoot, captured by Alessio Bolzoni.
You can shop the collection online and in select Miu Miu stores starting September 10. Learn more here.
HommeGirls Opens Its First New York City Retail Store
Part bi-annual magazine, part retailer, part media brand, HommeGirls is the brainchild of designer Thakoon Panichgul that continues to be a major source for celebrating the fusion of menswear and women’s fashion. Now, the brand has just opened its first-ever New York City retail space.
Unveiled on Thursday, April 24, the brick-and-mortar store lives on 112 Walker Street and will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Designed by Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd., the space acts a wink to Big Apple living, with a rotating dryer rack that moves throughout—like a dry cleaner’s—displaying the store’s latest designs.
The outpost will sell ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, including tops, boxers, outerwear, and more, along with the latest print issues of HommeGirls. “I’m excited for this new chapter—for us to be able to showcase all the facets of the brand,” Panichgul said. “From the magazine to the collection, to one-of-a-kind partnerships and out-of-the-box ideas, the space will allow us to express the world of HommeGirls and for our readers to step inside.”

Loeffler Randall Releases an Apron With Beloved NYC Restaurant Jack’s Wife Freda
If you’re a New Yorker, you’ve likely heard of the restaurant Jack’s Wife Freda, which has locations in SoHo, Chelsea, Union Square, the West Village, and Williamsburg.
One of its biggest supporters is Loeffler Randall cofounder, Jessie Randall, who recently teamed up with one the restaurant’s co-owner, Maya Jankelowitz, for a limited-edition apron celebrating the two brands.
“This project was such a natural extension of our friendship. Jessie and I met over 13 years ago at the original Jack’s Wife Freda location, and she and her family quickly became regulars and friends,” Jankelowitz wrote on Instagram. “Since then, our lives have overlapped in the most beautiful ways—neighbors in SoHo, raising kids the same age (and at the same school), both working with our husbands (pictured together in the aprons🤣), a shared love of fashion, the hotel that has meant so much to our families, and just a general reverence for all things creative. We’ve always admired each other’s work, so creating something together just made sense. This apron is meant to be lived in—whether you’re cooking, arranging flowers, crafting, or hosting friends.”
You can get one for yourself here.
