Jennifer Lopez Stopped by NYC and Gave Us a Parade of Fashion

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t need a red carpet or a grand event to bring the glamour. This Monday, the superstar stopped by New York City for a hot 36 hours, and during that time managed to shower us with a parade of fashion.

J.Lo was photographed at the Ring Them Bells: A Birthday Celebration for John Kander held at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. For the benefit concert emceed by Alan Cumming, Lopez slipped into an icy-white gown with a turtleneck, long sleeves, and a sweeping train broken up by a high leg slit on the skirt. The high neck was adorned with layers of shimmering rhinestones which went perfectly with Lopez’s glittery silver stiletto sandals, matching box clutch, and crystal-covered hoop earrings. The singer added a pop of color with a dash of sparkly purple eyeshadow.

Later in the evening, the “On the Floor” singer changed into a silky coral-pink slipdress with a plunging neckline, which she accessorized with a matching oversize feather boa, for some drama. She completed the look with see-through nude peep-toe heels.

“36 hours in NY,” Lopez wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of photos and clips of her time in the city. “Happy birthday to the legend that is John Kander. Honored to follow in the footsteps of the great Chita Rivera and be your Spider Woman ✨💋🕷️”

In the montage, she showed off several other looks we did not get to see her debut in public. These included a dramatic black spiderweb dress she wore as an ode to Broadway legend Chita Rivera (mimicking a gown she once wore), a cheetah-print set that she contrasted with sky-blue pieces, and a casual white cropped shirt and wide-leg jeans fit that she wore in the plane.
