Hundreds of Citibank customers reported receiving fraud alerts and difficulties accessing their accounts on Wednesday.
According to Down Detector, a service that tracks outages, hundreds of Citibank users began flagging issues around 9 a.m. ET.
Citibank was “aware of the issue and are working to fix it,” the bank wrote on X in response to customer complaints.
Meanwhile, Citibank customers have taken to X to share that the bank’s mobile was app was “down” and were unable to reach customer service representatives. Other users reported receiving a fraud alert from the bank.
