The struggling British economy is not immune to the chaos caused by President Trump’s trade policies, even if the government manages to carve out an exemption from the tariffs, one of the world’s leading forecasters has said.
The International Monetary Fund reduced its growth forecasts for major economies, including Britain, warning that the unprecedented upheaval from American protectionism could bring 80 years of economic co-operation to an end.
