The Hungarian Grand Prix is back to the Hungaroring circuit on the outskirts of Budapest. The 306.63 km race consists of 70 laps and is often said to resemble a karting race due to the lack of straights. Oscar Piastri won the race last year and is among the strongest contenders this year too. Hungarian Grand Prix 2025: Full weekend schedule and start times

The Hungarian Grand Prix will begin on Friday, August 1. After the F1 car presentation, the first free practice, FP1, will begin at 1:30 PM local time (5 PM IST), and the second free practice, FP2, will begin at 5 PM local time (8:30 PM IST). The teams’ press conference is also scheduled in the break between the two practice sessions.The third free practice, FP3, will be held on Saturday at 12:30 PM local time (4 PM IST). The Qualifying will follow in the evening at 4 PM local time (7:30 PM IST). It will be followed by a press conference and then the F1 Experiences Champions Club Grid Walk and trophy photo session.The final race is scheduled on Sunday at 3 PM local time (6:30 PM IST). Before the race, there will be a drivers’ parade and the national anthem.

Weather prediction for Hungarian Grand Prix

The drivers have been playing hide and seek with rain in the last two races in Britain and Belgium. This time too, they may face a similar situation. As per Formula1.com, Friday is expected to be sunny and dry in Budapest with temperatures in the range of 16 to 28 degrees Celsius.Saturday is expected to be cloudy with around 20 percent chance of rain. However, there is a 60 percent chance of rain on race day, Sunday, with temperatures expected to be between 17 and 27 degrees Celsius.
