Hong Kong Airlines Will Launch Flights To Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia In April

Travel-loving Hongkongers will be able to add another destination to their travel list. Hong Kong Airlines announced that it will launch direct flights to Hulunbuir in Inner Mongolia starting April 29.

The new service will offer travellers from Hong Kong and nearby areas access to the key city in northeastern Inner Mongolia. Furthermore, the route will enhance the link between Hong Kong and cities along the Belt and Road initiative to foster more economic, cultural, and tourism collaborations.

Fly directly to Hulunbuir with Hong Kong Airlines: Details

The flight from Hong Kong International Airport to Hulunbuir Hailar Airport will be available every Tuesday and Thursday. It will depart Hong Kong at 12:15 pm (HX463) and arrive at 4:55 pm. The return flight will leave Hulunbuir at 5:55 pm (HX462) and land in Hong Kong at 11 pm.

Additional flights on Thursdays will be available starting June 5. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks. Those interested in booking their flights now can do so via the Hong Kong Airlines website.

Hulunbuir, home to scenic landscapes

Hulunbuir is a prefecture-level city in northeastern Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region in China. It serves as the gateway to explore the sprawling and breathtaking Hulunbuir Grassland, which is home to natural scenery and a rich cultural heritage. Here, you can bask in the beauty of the picturesque views along the Eerguna River or the Hulun and Buir lakes. So, grab the chance to explore the endless horizons of the Khingan range with the new flights to Hulunbuir.

Head over to the town of Manzhouli, where Chinese, Russian, and Mongolian cultures converge. Explore the Moridaga National Forest Park, visit the Aoluguya Reindeer Tribe to learn about the culture and traditions, or catch a glimpse of the aurora (if you’re lucky) at Mohe’s Arctic Village.

Hulunbuir is just the latest route that Hong Kong Airlines will offer along the Belt and Road. Recently, they also launched direct flights to Dunchuang and Xining, Vientiane in Laos, and Da Nang in Vietnam.
