The first ‘real life’ images of the Google Pixel 10 smartphone range have leaked online, and they seem to confirm that you really should be considering a Pixel 9 this Prime Day.
Photos of what appear to be a Pixel 10 Pro prototype have appeared on Chinese auction website Goofish.

They’re slightly ropey images, but they’re good enough to confirm one very important point – the Pixel 10 range is going to look almost identical to the current Pixel 9 range.
The divisive camera module design that debuted with the Pixel 9 is present and accounted for, as is the iPhone-esque flat-edged design.

But wait – is that a funky new circuitboard-like pattern below the Google ‘G’ symbol? Yes it is, but don’t get excited. This is a common addition to distinguish prototype devices from the final models.
Previous spec leaks suggested that the Pixel 10 Pro was going to represent an incremental upgrade on the Pixel 9 Pro at best. We’re talking the same displays and cameras, with only the expected bump up in performance (via the Tensor G5) to speak of.
Buy a Pixel 9 this Prime Day
All of which is to say, now might be the perfect time to buy a Pixel 9. While the Pixel 10 is due for release a little over a month from now, it’s evidently not going to represent a huge advance.
Factor in Google’s seven year software support promise for its current phones, and the Pixel 9 is likely to feel practically indistinguishable from its successor. You can pick up a real bargain right now, too.

Yesterday we rounded up Amazon’s Prime Day deals on the entire Pixel 9 range. There are some massive savings to be made here on all four of the phones in the family – up to £550, in the case of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Just as a side note, the Pixel 9 is even cheaper today. You can now get the 128GB model for £529 rather than £799.
With the Pixel 9 Pro itself, you can pick up the 128GB entry model for just £679. That’s a £320 (or 32%) saving on a brilliant flagship phone.
