With 2025 right around the corner, Summit Place Financial Advisors founder and president Liz Miller joins Wealth! Host Brad Smith to make a case for US stocks (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC).
“As we look into 2025, what we’re seeing is a global economy that’s likely to be struggling, and the one bright spot is probably the United States,” Miller says.
She explains her investment strategy given her US-centric economic outlook, saying, “What we look for across the board is, certainly, domestic exposure in terms of sales versus global” as well as positive cash flow and improving leverage “with the [current] rate environment.”
Miller highlights Hartford Financial (HIG) and Disney (DIS) as stocks she expects to gain in 2025.
