Germany and France renew rivalries with a Under 21 European Championship final spot on the line, with both sides coming off the back of exhilarating quarter-final wins.
Italy pushed the Germans all the way to extra-time in the last eight with a very late equaliser, but Merlin Rohl’s 117th-minute goal was enough to seal a dramatic 3-2 victory and a place in the final four.
France, meanwhile, had their tournament hopes hanging by a thread as they twice trailed to Denmark, but two goals in quick succession late on from Quentin Merlin and Mathys Tel also saw them win a thrilling game 3-2.
With the two teams full of goals, and not quite rock solid at the back, we could be in for an absolute cracker, but who do Paddy Power favour? Neither it turns out, with both at 17/20 to qualify for Saturday’s final, and 8/5 to win in normal time.

Both teams to score in both halves: 11/1 (Skybet)
This has all the makings of a classic so why not go all-in on a bet that, if it comes off, will guarantee it? These two have scored a combined 22 goals so far in the competition, but have also let in 10 between them. With so many exciting young forwards on show, this is definitely worth a look.
Nick Woltemade to score anytime: 6/4 (Skybet)
Of all the exciting young forwards set to feature, no one is standing out more than Woltemade. The Stuttgart youngster has a rather ridiculous five goals and three assists from three games so far in the tournament (side note: he was rested for the win over England!) If there are goals, he is almost certain to be among them, and if Germany win, it is likely he will be at the heart of it.
