BRYANT, Ark. (KATV) — Fashion, music, and philanthropy are joining forces this Saturday at the Redvolution Fashion Show, an event designed to uplift Arkansas designers while benefiting the Central Arkansas American Heart Association.
Boutique owner Vikita Eason and LaConda T. Watson, development director of the American Heart Association, stopped by Little Rock ARC to share their excitement about the event and give more details.
“Redvolution is where fashion meets hearts,” Easton said. “This fashion show is so close to my heart. My dad had a stroke, and it really kind of shook my world, you know and it made me want to look closer into my health.”
Eason explained that the American Heart Association nominated her to be a Woman of Impact, a role she embraced with enthusiasm. “I’m always sharing good fashion deals and always talking about good fashion, so let’s put them together and let’s bring the hottest fashion show in Bryant, Arkansas,” she said.
The event promises a vibrant showcase of fashion, with tickets priced at $25. Attendees will enjoy a seat at the fashion show and catering from Taziki’s and Arkansas Catering. “100% of the proceeds go to the American Heart Association,” Eason said. “I’m so proud to be nominated and just to be going back out there with my community.”
The fashion show will feature models showcasing the latest trends, including pieces from Eason’s own boutique, Kita Lachelle. “Jessica is with Bagging Up Boutique, and she is ready for the spring,” Eason said, describing the colorful ensembles. “Our next model is Stephanie, and she’s ready to hit the runway with Vegas Couture.”
Eason also introduced a special model, her mother, Stafford. “My mom, she introduced me to fashion,” she said. “She helps everybody.”
Watson expressed her excitement for the event, saying, “Women of Impact, this is our first year actually in Central Arkansas having the Women of Impact competition, and with Vaquita being one of our nominees, we’re so proud of her.”
Tickets for the Redvolution Fashion Show can be purchased on Eventbrite or at the KitaLashel Boutique.
The fashion show will take place at the Hill Barn at 100 Hill Road in Bryant from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event promises to be a celebration of fashion and community spirit, all for a heartwarming cause.
