Supporters of breast cancer patients will gather May 4 for Embrace Your Sisters’ 18th annual Tea At Two Fashion Show Fundraiser, the nonprofit’s largest event of the year.
Board Director and cancer survivor Suanne Lippman will be available for interviews at the fundraiser, which opens its doors at 12:30 p.m. at Casa Larga in Fairport, with the runway show beginning at 2 p.m. A few tickets remain available, and the public can also participate in a silent auction.
Embrace Your Sisters (EYS) serves Monroe County and 12 surrounding counties in Upstate New York by offering short-term emergency financial support to people battling breast cancer. According to the organization, this fundraiser brought in over $60,000 last year. Since its founding, EYS has distributed more than $600,000 to support patients with daily living expenses.
Operated entirely by volunteers, EYS provides assistance through financial aid, education, and resources. The nonprofit holds a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and continues its work with the support of community members and events like the Tea At Two Fashion Show.
