A Destiny 2 player has impressed by transforming their Titan into the Doom Slayer. The Destiny 2 community often shows its creativity in recreating iconic characters and celebrities. There’s no shortage of examples, such as Samus Aran, Marvel’s Carnage, and even armor inspired by Gordon Ramsay.

As well as being one of the most recognizable characters in the gaming world, the Doom Slayer is considered a powerful FPS character. Called “Doomguy” by fans, the character was first seen in 1993 with the release of the first Doom, the start of one of the most beloved series. Since then, six more games have come out, the most recent being Doom Eternal (2020), with all of them showing the fight against demonic threats. The seventh game is coming soon, and to celebrate, a Destiny 2 player has shared an impressive build.

Redditor iixVanquishxX turned their Titan into the Doom Slayer, sharing the result with the community. One of the most impressive parts of the build is the Wall-watcher Helm, a piece of gear that reproduces the helmet of the protagonist of the shooter franchise with an impressive degree of fidelity. The rest of the outfit is made up of the default ornament, the Wolf-Kissed Plate, the BrayTech Sn0Boots, and the Knightly Noire Mark, which give the Titan a fierce makeover inspired by the armor fans will see the Doomguy wearing in the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages.

Destiny 2 Player Impresses With Doom Slayer-Inspired Build

Known for their incredible Destiny 2 builds, iixVanquishxX’s recreation of the Doom Slayer also stands out for its shader choices. The upper part of the armor uses Unsated Curiosity, Warped Rachis, and Gambit Jadestone, the latter two Destiny 2 shaders successfully reproducing the dark green tone of the Doom Slayer armor. The lower part of the build again uses Unsated Curiosity and Gamekeeper. The latter is another legendary shader introduced in Destiny 2 Season 22 and was available in one of the Eververse rotations.

For those who don’t know, Doom Slayer will return on May 15 with the release of Doom: The Dark Ages for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A prequel to the critically acclaimed Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, this new narrative shows the protagonist’s brutal fight against the forces of Hell while exploring realms never seen before. For players of Bungie’s shooter, Destiny 2 got a new update at the beginning of April, along with the weekly reset and the new Xur item rotation.
