Last week, presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed the Chatty Man host was just one of her chosen Traitors, alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.
Within hours of being given his secret role, the 49-year-old had to “kill” his best friend and former Faithful Paloma Faith in plain sight, by rubbing his hands on the pollen of a poisoned lily before touching her face, resulting in a slow “death”.
However, on the third instalment of Celebrity Traitors, currently airing on BBC One, some viewers were stunned as he has become “public enemy number one”.

This was due to Alan not being shy to admit the thrill of being a Traitor, after choosing to “murder” Tom Daley, as well as Paloma, who were popular among fans.
Others noted he had become a bit of a savage on the latest episode after his recent devious actions, as someone wrote on X: “Alan Carr is public enemy number 1. First Paloma, now Tom?? #CelebrityTraitors.”
Another put: “Alan is morphing into a psycho. #Traitors #TheCelebrityTraitors #CelebrityTraitors.”
A third shared: “Alan Carr is like a serial killer #CelebrityTraitors #AlanCarr.”
Meanwhile, this viewer commented: “Who would have thought Alan Carr would be such a good serial killer #CelebrityTraitors #thecelebritytraitors.”
