Cathay Pacific enhances Sydney-Hong Kong flights with the luxurious Aria Suite and upgraded Premium Economy, offering a new level of comfort and innovation for travelers.

Cathay Pacific is elevating luxury travel on the Sydney-Hong Kong route with the introduction of its new Aria Suite business class. The new cabin will be available on select flights, marking just the second long-haul service to feature this cutting-edge product, launched on the airline’s upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

This aircraft upgrade goes beyond business class, with the latest Boeing 777 also featuring a refreshed premium economy section and an improved economy cabin. Currently, the retrofitted aircraft operates five times a week on this route and will serve flight CX162 between Sydney and Hong Kong starting in early April.

The Aria Suite redefines premium air travel, offering unparalleled luxury and privacy with fully enclosed suites, soft LED lighting, wireless charging, and a massive 24-inch 4K entertainment screen—the largest ever on Cathay Pacific flights. The suite’s 1-2-1 layout also introduces the Gallery in the Skies, showcasing exclusive artwork inspired by Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage.

In addition to the business class upgrade, premium economy passengers will enjoy enhanced privacy, 15.6-inch 4K screens with Bluetooth connectivity, and access to dedicated lavatories.

This upgrade is part of Cathay Pacific’s ambitious HK$100 billion (AU$200 billion) investment in its fleet, cabin improvements, lounges, and digital innovations. The airline emphasizes that this investment reflects its dedication to providing world-class service and exceptional comfort to its passengers.
